Hofmann Water Technologies,
Inc., is a Connecticut corporation founded in 1967. Our
manufacturing, corporate offices, and laboratory are located in Stratford, CT.
Structure, People, Geographic Scope
Hofmann Water Technologies, Inc. is organized with a participative,
flattened corporate structure designed to promote simple, direct
intra-company communication, rapid decision-making, and responsive
client-driven adaptation.
Our working model distributes knowledge
throughout the organization to empower our personnel. Information that is
often held at a management level in other firms is routinely disseminated
throughout our firm. We believe that this encourages better
business/technical debate, improves quality, makes HWT a more market-driven
company, and ultimately yields better results for our clients.
Presently, HWT has targeted the
Northeast as our geographic focus in the United States. This scope
is, to some extent, based upon a practical range for our point of feed
(POF) delivery systems. Additionally, HWT is presently serving
clients throughout the United States in conjunction with our network of highly-qualified
affiliates. International sales are
currently made through agents.
Research and Development /
Applications Engineering
HWT's policy is one of
creating a standard of excellence in applying the known, proven
technologies and carefully embracing new technologies as they are
proven. In addition to our human resource cycle, we employ the
following:
- a centralized repository of case histories
including water quality, operating characteristics, corrosion coupon
data, Corrater data, fouling monitor data, microbiological
assessment, digital imaging, and visual inspections from our field
results based on the various programs implemented by us or others
- for cooling water programs, we utilize WaterCycle
computer-modeling as a predictive tool. Our advanced version of
this software has allowed us to develop correlations of our products
with varying water quality and system parameters.
- a technical library of over twenty years of articles and books
with an on-line abstract search capabilities for field use.
- attendance and careful review of
proceedings of the top technical conferences in the world on our
subject
- as required, a pilot cooling system can be
installed on-site for advanced program assessment and experimentation
- our memberships in various professional associations
provide a vast network of resources and experience
